Reports to: Director of Maintenance

Status: Exempt

JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision of the Director of Maintenance, the Maintenance Controller is responsible for managing mechanical irregularities and the coordination of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at all bases.

 

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

The following are essential job accountabilities:

Ensure that mechanical delays are handled in a safe and expeditious manner in accordance with ACC’s maintenance manual.

Coordinate appropriate ACC personnel and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in order to expedite aircraft return to service including maintenance planning and dispatch.

Responsible for completing and distributing all applicable forms and documents in accordance with procedures set forth in the ACC maintenance procedures manual.

Provide point of contact and control for maintenance performed on company aircraft away from main maintenance base by ACC personnel or contract maintenance.

Assist with maintenance planning in issuance and tracking of scheduled maintenance workload.

Process all necessary documentation and paperwork for processes completed and ensure approvals for verification and functional check flights are adhered to.

Comply with all quality, safety and sanitation regulations.

Perform all duties as assigned including basic Dispatch/Flight Ops as needed.

Education Requirements

Minimum Education: One to two years Technical College

Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree

Certifications/Licenses: Airframe and Powerplant required

Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience: Up to six years of experience

Preferred Experience: Up to nine years of experience

Previous Maintenance Controller experience preferred
